POLICIES
To ensure a distinctive and exceptional experience for all clients while respecting our therapists' schedules, we have implemented the following guidelines:
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment to complete necessary client forms (for new clients), change, and prepare for your service. Arriving early contributes to a more relaxed experience, as all treatment sessions are time sensitive. If you arrive late, your service may be shortened to maintain our schedule, and you may still be charged for the full treatment time.
Cancellation Policy and Fees
Your appointment is reserved solely for you, and we appreciate your adherence to Collective Euphoria’s scheduling policies. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a $30 cancellation fee (deposit). We understand that unexpected situations can arise, such as car troubles or family emergencies, but we kindly ask that you notify us if you cannot attend your appointment. Clients who fail to provide prior notice for missed appointments will be charged the full-service fee.
Late Arrival Policy
Due to the structured nature of our treatment sessions, late arrivals may not receive an extension of their scheduled appointments. In certain circumstances, if our schedule permits, we may accommodate a partial or full appointment, but this is at our discretion and requires prior notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will still apply.
Informed Consent
Before each massage session, we will review the treatment plan with you. During your initial visit, you will be required to sign a consent form indicating that you have read, understood, and agreed to adhere to our professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients who have not visited us in over a year may also need to complete this form.
Scope of Practice
The therapists at Collective Euphoria are licensed professionals in Michigan and adhere to the rigorous standards set by the American Massage Therapy Association. Massage therapy involves the application of manual techniques and may include additional therapies aimed at enhancing the client's health and well-being.
Respect for client needs and boundaries
Our massage therapists prioritize client comfort and preferences, readily accommodating requests for adjustments in pressure, temperature, music volume, and treatment duration. Clients have the autonomy to wear as much clothing as they prefer, decline specific massage techniques, or halt the session at any point. Throughout the treatment, clients will be modestly draped, with only the area being worked on exposed, and they will be kept informed about which areas are being treated.
It is imperative to note that any form of sexual interaction or conversation between the client and therapist is strictly prohibited; violations will lead to immediate session termination, full payment obligation, and notification of local law enforcement.
Confidentiality and Conversation
We treat all client visits and conditions as confidential.
You may choose to talk not talk during the massage. Conversation will be guided by the client’s direction.
Existing and New Medical Conditions
It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued.
The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.
For clients undergoing chemo and radiation therapies – Please note that we require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of and agrees to the desired treatment.
